During the holidays, regular family routines can be disrupted. As a result, your child with a disability may miss a therapy session (or two). However, as a parent, there are heaps of activities you can enjoy with your child to support them with speech therapy.
For children with a disability, who benefit from physiotherapy, it’s always important to further support them with at-home activities, especially during holiday periods when they may miss a session or two.
For children with a disability and complex needs, occupational therapy supports them to do more of the things that they love. In addition to sessions with their occupational therapist, your child will benefit from occupational therapy activities that you can do at home.
Children with a disability and complex health needs will benefit not only from structured Occupational Therapy sessions with their OT but also from activities that you can do at home.
