At InFocus, we provide support for children with complex disabilities in Brisbane. And as a registered NDIS service provider in Brisbane and the greater Brisbane region, we are already working with families on their NDIS pre-planning.

We want our families to be as prepared as possible for their transition into the NDIS. We’re working with families in the Ipswich region and will soon be commencing NDIS pre-planning with our Brisbane families as the NDIS roll-out for the greater Brisbane region commences in July 2018. It’s expected that pre-planning will start early next year. 

At InFocus, we’ve been providing support for children with complex disabilities in Brisbane since 1951. Formerly known as Xavier Children’s Support Network, we have a long and proud history and put our children and families at the heart of everything we do.

Now, as the NDIS roll-out commences in our area and as registered NDIS providers in Ipswich, we are working with families to support them through their transition.

Our team are working with families to help them get “NDIS ready” so that they get the best outcome possible for their child from their first NDIS plans.

 

As a registered NDIS service provider in Ipswich, the team at InFocus are currently working with families to help them plan and prepare for their first NDIS Planning Meeting.

Your child’s first plan is the start of their NDIS journey. It will be unique to your child and the supports that they need. The plan will provide funding for supports that the NDIA deem “reasonable and necessary”.

The first planning meeting may appear daunting but we believe that as NDIS Service Providers in Brisbane, it is our role to help our families be as prepared as possible. We’re here to provide family support for children with complex disabilities in Brisbane and the greater Brisbane area and to assist with your child’s transition to the NDIS.

 

At InFocus, we’ve been providing respite services for children in Brisbane for many years. For families who are less familiar with respite care, what exactly is it? Respite care is short-term care designed to give the primary care giver a break from care giving duties as well as provide opportunities for the child to socialise and to gain some independence.
