Safeguarding children

Every child, young person and adult-at-risk has the right to dignity, respect and protection from harm. How we value children and young people impacts our attitudes and behaviours towards them.

Safeguarding children and other vulnerable members of our communities is everyone’s responsibility.

In safeguarding our children Xavier strives for safe:

People Having safe people means that Xavier staff are appropriately selected, recruited and trained in safeguarding children.
Practices Having safe practices means applying safeguards to all of our services and activities.
Places Having 'Safe Places' involves applying safeguards to all of our locations including Xavier Place & our community therapy clinics.
