Bobbie was born with a very rare syndrome which was later diagnosed as Cardiofaciocutaneous (CFC) syndrome . Her mum Maree has always been Bobbie’s strongest advocate and when she was a little girl Maree firmly believed that with the right support Bobbie could progress.
That’s when Maree found Xavier. In the 1980s, Bobbie attended Xavier Hospital Special School which provided education and therapy support for children with complex disabilities. In 2019, we were able to help Bobbie again when Maree needed medical training for Bobbie’s carers.
