At Xavier, we’ve recently expanded our allied health team into the North Lakes area to support more children with a disability and their families. One of our dedicated allied health team members, our experienced Speech Pathologist is ready to support children and young people with a disability in the North Lakes area.
What does a Speech Pathologist do?
Speech therapy is delivered by a Speech Pathologist. A Speech Pathologist is a university trained allied health professional. A Speech Pathologist will assess, diagnose and treat individuals who experience challenges with communication and/or swallowing.

Our North Lakes team
Our North Lakes based Speech Pathologist is ready to support children and young people as part of a team of other allied health professionals including occupational therapists and physiotherapists. Speech therapy sessions can take place in your home, via telehealth or in a community setting.
We can work with you and your child with a disability to help them do more of the things that they love, participate more fully in everyday activities and to help your family do more together.
