How Xavier therapy can support children with a disability in Ipswich

At Xavier, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to expand our therapy support services to more areas across the Brisbane region. We’re working on opening our new Community Therapy Clinic in Eastern Heights, Ipswich by March 2020.

It’s our goal to provide therapy to support more children and young people with complex, physical and multiple disabilities so that they can live a better life.

Xavier therapy support can help kids with a disability in so many ways. Here’s a quick look at some of the ways that we can support children and young adults in the Ipswich area.

Occupational Therapy – Through occupational therapy (OT), we can support children and young adults with a disability to do more of the things that they love. OT is about improving ability, confidence and independence in carrying out everyday activities.

Speech Therapy – Our team of Speech Pathologists work with children and young adults with a disability to support their communication journey and to help with swallowing and mealtimes.

Physiotherapy – Physio helps children and young adults with a physical disability to develop movement, motor skills, improve strength, muscle tone, flexibility and posture. Our goal is to help kids to take part in the physical aspects of everyday life to the best of their ability.
