At InFocus, we’ve been providing support for children with complex disabilities in Brisbane since 1951. Formerly known as Xavier Children’s Support Network, we have a long and proud history and put our children and families at the heart of everything we do.

Now, as the roll-out of the NDIS will soon commence in the greater Brisbane area and as registered NDIS providers in Brisbane, we are working with families to support them through their transition.

Our team are working with families to help them get started on their NDIS journey. so that they get the best outcome possible for their child from their first NDIS plans.

So what does your child’s NDIS journey look like? Having an understanding of the stages in your journey might help you feel more comfortable as you transition to the new NDIS.

The NDIA call this “My NDIS Pathway” and it’s designed to help families navigate through the necessary steps. It answers questions such as:

-          What is the NDIS?

-          Can I access the NDIS for my child?

-          What might my first plan look like?

“My NDIS Pathway” then guides you through:

-          Starting my child’s plan

-          Reviewing my child’s plan

-          Your plan in accessible formats
